In the fall of 1992, Darren Smale started teaching Curling Schools and contacted a manufacturer of curling supplies (Olson Curling Supplies) to see if they would be interested in having a sales representative in Northern British Columbia promoting their product. The relationship was started then and has continued until present day with Darren and his brother Dean Smale covering BC, Northern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

In the summer of 1993, Darren teamed up with the top team jersey manufacturer in Canada (Athletic Knit) and Dean joined soon afterward. Darren and Dean now cover the 3 provinces of BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
